Fern Living Furniture Warranty Terms and Conditions

Your furniture comes with a warranty which covers the product for its intended use only.

The warranty will be invalid if used in a commercial environment, if it is altered, modified or repaired by a third party. The warranty begins on the day of purchase and therefore keeping your proof of purchase is essential to establish the start date.

Claims against the warranty must be reported in writing to either the point of purchase or via our website. We will take all reasonable steps to repair, replace or refund the product. All claims are subject to scrutiny and inspection by our own product experts, Fern Living will make any decisions to repair, replace or refund the product.

All claims must be supported with:
Image of overall set to confirm identification, Images / video of fault / issue, description of fault / issue, full contact details including name, address, contact number and copy of proof of purchase.
In all cases we reserve the right to request additional images / videos in order to make a correct assessment of any claims.

Our warranty and any assistance given by Fern Living (British Garden Centres) is in addition to your statutory rights. In the event of a product line being discontinued British Garden Centres reserve the right to offer a partial refund, this will be calculated as a percentage of original value v’s amount of warranty period remaining on the product OR offer a substitute replacement if available. Any replacement provided will be for the failed item only and not the entire set of furniture.

Our warranty covers the structural framework of your furniture in addition to manufacturing or material defects. Normal wear and tear and damages occurring due to misuse, incorrect assembly or negligence are not covered under the warranty, British Garden Centres reserves the right to ask questions about the fault and the products use to make a correct assessment on a claim. The warranty is valid on the UK mainland only, the warranty is valid only to original purchaser and not third parties if sold on.

Warranty periods are 12 to 24 months from date of purchase depending on product for structural defects, ALL fabrics and cushions carry a 12 month warranty only.

When Buying Your Furniture

Please retain your receipt as proof and date of purchase, this will be needed should you need to make a claim on your warranty.

When your furniture is delivered

Check for Missing Components

Firstly when you unpack your purchase you must check all components for each set are present.

You must report shortages as soon as possible, this will speed up any resolution (the missing part may have been delivered to your neighbouring centre by mistake). The more time goes past the harder it is to track where your missing part is.

Damaged on Delivery

When your order arrives at your centre all boxes should be checked for damage. If damage is found on a box please check over product inside. If the product is damaged please report as soon as possible.
